WVUR to Continue Carrying Live Crusader Sports Action this Fall

                WVUR (95.1 FM-Valparaiso) has announced that the student-run radio station will broadcast more than 50 live football, soccer, and volleyball games this fall, including several road contests this upcoming season.

                Every home and away football game will be carried live as part of the Valpo Sports Radio Network.  In addition, nine men’s and eight women’s soccer contests, along with 26 volleyball matches will be carried by the station.  Most matches will be carried live on WVUR and online at www.valpoathletics.com while several will be available only through www.sportsjuice.com.      

                The fall schedule begins on August 29 with a volleyball match against Nevada carried live on www.sportsjuice.com and road women’s soccer match at Colorado College on WVUR.  The first men’s soccer contest will be carried on September 7 against Western Illinois.  Football opens its season on September 4 at Saint Francis (Ill.).  WAKE (1500-AM) and WE-FM (95.9-FM) also will join the Valpo Sports Radio Network for coverage of Crusader football this season.

                WVUR also plans on carrying live coverage of the Horizon League Volleyball Championships.
