The Valparaiso University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be raising money for the American Cancer Society at home events throughout the next couple weeks as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Week.

SAAC will be manning tables at five different sporting events over the next few weeks, selling t-shirts as well as accepting donations for the cause. The Crusader teams will also be supporting breast cancer awareness, wearing pink jerseys, socks, hats, shoelaces, as well as showcasing pink in other ways.

The events at which fans can support breast cancer awareness include Saturday afternoon's football game against Morehead State (1 p.m.), Saturday afternoon's volleyball match versus Wright State (4 p.m.), men's basketball's exhibition opener on Saturday, Oct. 26 against Hillsdale (7:05 p.m.), men's soccer's match versus Western Michigan on Wednesday, Oct. 30 (7:30 p.m.) and the women's soccer regular season finale against Green Bay on Friday, Nov. 1 (6:30 p.m.).
