Lexi (Nichols) Sansone joined the Valparaiso University staff as the Assistant Director of Marketing for Athletics in October of 2016.

In her role, she is responsible for all in-game marketing and promotions, gameday atmosphere and fan experience.

Sansone brings to the position knowledge of marketing for Valpo Athletics through her time as a student assistant to the department while she was an undergraduate and graduate student. During her tenure as a student, Sansone was also involved in fundraising, was an editor and reporter for the Torch student newspaper, served as a football concession stand student coordinator and coordinated the senior class gift.

After finishing her master’s, Sansone briefly served as Morgan Township High School Athletic Secretary before taking her job at Valpo.

Raised and still residing in Westville, Ind., Sansone earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management from Valparaiso University in 2014 and her master’s degree in sports administration from Valparaiso University in 2016.
