Valparaiso University will host winter hitting and pitching camps at the end of December for players ranging from 8-18 years of age.

On December 27, there will be a pair of camps for 8-14 year olds while December 28 will feature the same camps for 15-18 year olds. A pitching camp will run from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. while a hitting camp runs from 1-4 p.m. Detroit Tigers bench coach Lloyd McClendon will be in attendance for the December 28 hitting camp.

The cost of each individual camp is $40, or $70 for those that choose to attend both camps. Members of Valpo's coaching staff as well as players will serve as the camp's instructors. For more information or to register, contact Chris Maliszewski at 219-465-7961 or Chris.Malizewski@valpo.edu.
