Snow Postpones Series Opener With Cleveland State

Elliott Gibbs is set to take the hill for the Crusaders on Saturday.

Overnight snow and ice that fell in the Valparaiso area has postponed Friday’s scheduled baseball series opener with Cleveland State. The game has been rescheduled for Sunday at noon.

The Crusaders and Vikings will open the three-game weekend series on Saturday afternoon at Emory G. Bauer Field with a doubleheader beginning at noon. The games can be heard live on www.sportsjuice.com.

Prior to Saturday’s game, a presentation will take place to commemorate Valpo’s first Horizon League home series.
