Rain, which fell throughout the Saturday morning and afternoon hours, has forced the postponement of Saturday’s scheduled baseball doubleheader between Valparaiso and Youngstown State at Emory G. Bauer Field.  The two schools will make up the twinbill on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.

Both games will be carried live on WVUR (95.1-FM, Valparaiso) and online at www.valpoathletics.com.

Valpo won the opener of the three-game weekend series 11-1 on Friday, before the rains moved in.

With Saturday’s games being played on Sunday, the regularly scheduled game between Valparaiso and Saint Francis (Ind.), set for Sunday, has been pushed back to Monday.  First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field.
