Sophomore Dalton Lundeen (Streamwood, Ill./Streamwood) was named the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week Tuesday.

Lundeen posted a 1-1 record with a 2.38 ERA. In just his second start back following a case of mononucleosis, Lundeen tossed a shutout against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The lefty tossed seven innings of scoreless ball and surrendered four hits. He struck out three batters.  Earlier in the week, in his first start of the year against 10th-ranked Texas, Lundeen yielded two earned runs in four innings of work. He has yet to allow an extra base hit this season.

The Crusaders (7-7) wrap up their spring trip tonight with a 6:30 pm tilt versus Incarnate Word. With a win, they can open conference play with a winning record for the first time since 1997.
