Valpo baseball announced that the team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2015 roster on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Tryouts will start at 4 p.m. and interested participants should report to Emory G. Bauer Field by 3:30 p.m. Players trying out should bring all of the necessary equipment (bats, gloves, cleats and catching gear, if necessary). Those trying out will be put through a variety of workouts and drills.

Prospective players are required to complete a pre-participation physical exam form, have had a physical exam in the past year, and have signed the NCAA drug testing consent form prior to the tryout. The pre-participation exam and NCAA drug testing consent forms can be picked up in the Valpo baseball offices at Emory G. Bauer Field. All forms must be returned to assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Ben Wolgamot at the baseball office no later than Sept. 1^st  in order to participate in the tryout. In addition, all players must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at Valparaiso University.
