Dillon Earns PFL Defensive Player of the Week Honor

            For the second time in three weeks a Valparaiso University defender has been named to the Pioneer Football League Defensive Player of the Week.  Sean Dillon (Oak Lawn, Ill./Mount Carmel H.S.) earned the honor this week for his play Saturday at Drake.

            Dillon, a redshirt-junior linebacker recorded six tackles, including one for loss on the afternoon as well as a pass breakup.  He also helped end a pair of Bulldog drives, forcing a fumble at the Valpo 19-yard line in the first quarter as well as blocking a field goal late in the game.

            On the season, Dillon is second on the team with 31 tackles, including three for loss and has three pass breakups.
