Doerffler and Koepke Earn Academic All-PFL Honors

Valparaiso University's Ryan Doerffler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia H.S.) and Ryan Koepke (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead H.S.) were both named to the Academic All-Pioneer Football League First Team.

Doerffler, a redshirt-junior, has a 3.61 grade point average in finance and accounting and is a two-time First Team selection. Valpo's starting quarterback, he threw for 2,050 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.

Koepke, a redshirt-sophomore, has a 3.68 grade point average in mechanical engineering. A starting linebacker for the Crusaders, he led the team in tackles with 67, including 5.0 for loss.
