The Valpo football team will kick off its first of 15 spring practices Wednesday afternoon. Head football coach Dave Cecchini and his club will conduct practices every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday leading up to the April 16th spring game.

"This is a great opportunity for some of our rising sophomores to grow after recruiting such a large freshman class. The spring is important for us as it will enable a lot of our guys to get comfortable in our schemes," Cecchini said.

The 2016 spring football game will take place on Saturday, April 16th at 11:00 am at Brown Field. Cecchini projects the game to have a modified scoring system just like last season's contest.
