The Valparaiso University men's basketball staff will conduct a Fall Coaches Clinic on Sat., Oct. 5 in Valpo's Athletics-Recreation Center. The clinic begins at 9 a.m. and will finish at 12:20 p.m. Registration is between 8:15-9 a.m.

The clinic will feature instruction from new Valpo head coach Scott Drew, as well as assistants Mike Heideman, Mark Morefield, Matt Bowen and Dwayne Toatley. Drew will speak about Valpo's man-to-man offense. Heideman will lead a session on one-on-one, two-on-two and three-on-three drills to help build team defense. Morefield will talk about developing skills through individual workouts. Toatley will discuss diet and strength development for high school players. Bowen will teach about preparation and scouting.

Entire coaching staffs can attend at cost-saving prices. When a first coach pays $35, the second, third and fourth coaches would cost only $25, and a fifth coach would attend for free.
