Valparaiso redshirt junior Bobby Capobianco (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland [Indiana]) has been named the Horizon League Newcomer of the Week for the second time this season after enjoying a near-perfect week from the field in a pair of Crusader wins.

Capobianco started the week on Tuesday in the win over Youngstown State by going 3-for-3 from the field in a seven-point, four-rebound effort in just 15 minutes of action. The junior then posted a career-high 16 points in the regular season finale at Green Bay on Saturday, going 7-of-8 from the field. Capobianco also led the Crusaders with seven rebounds, one of which was a rebound and putback of his only miss.

For the week, Capobianco averaged 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on 10-of-11 (90.9%) shooting from the floor. Capobianco was previously named Newcomer of the Week on Feb. 11.
