Valparaiso's journey at the 2013 NCAA Tournament kicks into high gear on Wednesday, as the Crusaders participate in the traditional pre-tournament press conference and open practice.

The Crusaders arrived at their hotel in Bloomfield Hills late Tuesday afternoon and had a brief time to rest before heading to the campus of Oakland University and the O'Rena for practice on Tuesday evening.  Following practice, the team enjoyed dinner together before retiring for the night.

Wednesday brings the start of the hoopla, kicking off with the pre-tournament press conference.  Valpo's starting five will take part in the press conference at 10:20 a.m. CT, with head coach Bryce Drew fielding questions at 10:35 a.m.  The Crusaders will then be the first team to showcase their skills in the open practice session, which lasts from 11:00-11:40 a.m.  Following the open practice, Valpo will return to the O'Rena to conclude their normal day-before-game practice.
