The ValparaiZone and Valpo Men's and Women's Basketball Teams are excited to announce the Valpo Hoops Dodgeball Challenge for students. This event, which will take place Thursday, October 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the ARC, is sure to generate excitement around the upcoming basketball season.

The Valpo student body has a chance to not only play dodgeball, but play it with players on the men's and women's basketball teams. Students just have to create a team of five people (can be all guys, all girls, or coed), and each student team will be paired with both a men's basketball and a women's basketball player. This will give each team seven players, and a chance for students to get to know and interact directly with all of the players. The winning team will win $250!

There will be FREE pizza, a chance to take pictures with and meet all the players and coaches - along with the Crusader - and a free ValparaiZone tshirt.

Each team will be guaranteed at least two games, and it is sure to be a fun night for all students and the teams. You can sign up in the Union's Chapel View Lounge Hallway during lunch (11-1), or by emailing Valpoathletics@valpo.edu. The deadline for sign-up is Wednesday, October 15, at 5 p.m.
