Eron Gordon to Join Valpo Men’s Basketball Program
Another in-state product will join the Valparaiso University men’s basketball program, as Indianapolis native Eron Gordon announced Friday evening that he will transfer to Valpo from Seton Hall for his final two seasons of collegiate eligibility. Gordon will sit out the 2018-19 campaign due to transfer regulations and will be eligible for the Crusaders starting with the 2019-20 season.

Basketball Earns Season-Opening Win Over North Park
The Valparaiso University men’s basketball team held North Park scoreless for over 10 minutes to start off the season opener Friday evening at the ARC en route to an 88-46 victory over the Vikings. The win extended the Crusaders’ winning streak in home openers to 13 consecutive years.

Valpo Men's Basketball Ready for Season Opener
The lid lifts on the 2017-18 season for the Valparaiso University men’s basketball team on Friday evening at the ARC, as the Crusaders welcome North Park to town. It will be a new journey for the Crusaders this year, as they commence their first season as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. Crusaders Lock Down In Exhibition Win at Chicago State
After winning its first exhibition game of the 2017-18 season with an impressive offensive output, the Valparaiso University men’s basketball team turned around with a stellar defensive effort Saturday afternoon at Chicago State, limiting the Cougars to 15 second-half points as the Crusaders pulled away for a 77-42 victory. A special hurricane relief exhibition, the game raised more than $1,000 for the Lutheran World Relief organization.

MVC Announces CBS Sports Broadcast Package
For the third consecutive year, CBS Sports Network will televise a package of Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball games, including Valparaiso University’s home game at the ARC against UNI on Tuesday, Feb. 20 and the State Farm MVC Tournament semifinals. CBS Sports will continue to televise the title game of Arch Madness for a 13th consecutive year on March 4.
