Valparaiso University head coach Mike Higdon released the men’s fall golf schedule on Wednesday afternoon (July 7), in which the Crusaders will compete in five tournaments.

The season begins September 11-12 in East Lansing, Mich. as the Crusaders tee it up at the Michigan State Tournament.  Valpo will be making its first appearance in the event.

After a week off, Valpo will play four straight weeks to close out the fall slate.  Valpo will head to Bowling Green, Ohio for the BGSU John Piper Intercollegiate September 27-28, an event in which Valpo played in one year ago.  Valpo will also make a return appearance to the Butler Fall Invitational October 4-5 before heading to the Tennessee-Martin Invitational one week later.  The fall schedule concludes October 18-19 with the Dayton Fall Invitational.

Higdon returns six players from the 2009-2010 campaign, and has added a pair of freshmen to the roster for the upcoming season.
