Valparaiso University head men’s golf coach Dave Gring has announced his spring schedule which will have the Crusaders competing in four tournaments prior to this year’s Horizon League Championships.

The Brown and Gold will open the spring slate March 26-27 at the Butler Spring Invitational held at Prestwick Country Club in Avon, Ind.  One week later Valpo will travel to Macomb, Ill. for the first time to participate in the Bea Mussato Invitational hosted by Western Illinois.

Following a week off, the Crusaders will return to the links in Raleigh, N.C. to compete in the Wolfpack Spring Open hosted by North Carolina State before returning to Indiana to play in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, a tournament run by Ball State.

This year’s Horizon League Championships will again take place at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. from April 27-29 with the conference champion earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Regional Championships.
