Bryan Bennett

Assistant Coach

Bryan Bennett was named as an assistant coach for the Valparaiso University men’s and women’s golf programs in the summer of 2009.

Bennett arrived at Valpo after a stint as the head golf coach for four seasons at Kouts High School. He was a PGA assistant golf professional from 1994-2001 before regaining his amateur status in 2007.

Bennett was an Academic All-American selection at the University of Nebraska, where he graduated in 1994 with a degree in communications.  He also won the individual and team junior college national championship at Long Beach City College in 1990.  As a high school golfer in Long Beach, Calif., he finished fourth in the California state championship for Los Alamitos High School.

Bennett currently still competes as an amateur on both the regional and national level, and is currently the reigning club champion at The Course at Aberdeen, the home course of the Crusader golf programs.
