The Valparaiso men’s soccer team placed a pair of players on the Duquesne Invitational All-Tournament Team, as fifth-year senior Stefan Antonijevic (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Stevenson [College of Lake County/Marquette]) and junior Kevin Miller (Jefferson City, Mo./Helias) represented the Crusaders for their efforts on the pitch over the course of Valpo’s two matches.
Antonijevic never came off the field all weekend, playing all 200 minutes over the two matches at center back for the Crusaders as Valpo surrendered just two goals in the run of play. Miller played all but 11 minutes over the two contests in the midfield for Valpo and registered an assist on the equalizer against Pitt on Sunday.
Antonijevic, Miller and the rest of the Crusaders return to action Friday at the NIU adidas Invitational against the host Huskies.
