Crusaders Soccer Honored by the NSCAA

The Valparaiso University men's soccer program was honored with the Team Academic Award by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America last week at the annual convention.

Head Coach Mis' Mrak's team received the award for carrying a cumulative grade point average over 3.0 for the 2001-2002 academic year.

Valpo received the honor for the first time in the program's history, and was one of approximately 110 men's programs in the country, including all divisions on four-year schools along with junior colleges to receive the NSCAA accolade.
