Valpo Welcomes Marcey to Program
Head coach Mike Avery has welcomed transfer Mason Marcey to the program.

The Valparaiso University men’s soccer team has announced the addition of midyear transfer Mason Marcey to the program.

Marcey joins the Crusaders after starting his collegiate career at Radford this fall. The freshman midfielder is a native of Charlotte, N.C. and graduate of Charlotte Christian High School.

Marcey was a four-year starter and captain at Charlotte Soccer Academy. He trained with the AC Milan youth team, spent a summer playing with the Charlotte Independence of the USL and won a national championship with the Charlotte Eagles (PDL).

A dean’s list honoree at Radford, Marcey is majoring in communications at Valpo. His father Bruce played soccer at Bucknell, while his mother ran cross country at Auburn.
