The Valparaiso University men’s and women’s swimming programs revealed their schedule for the upcoming 2018-2019 season on Friday, featuring four home meets at the ARC pool.

The season opens Sept. 29, as Valpo hosts its Brown and Gold Alumni Meet as part of Homecoming Weekend. Intercollegiate competition opens at the ARC Pool on Oct. 6 against Green Bay, before a trip to UNI the next Saturday to face the Panthers, as well as Western Illinois and South Dakota State. A home meet against Eastern Illinois Oct. 27 wraps up the month of October.

The fall season continues Nov. 3 at Indiana State, with Evansville traveling to Terre Haute as well to make it a tri meet between the MVC’s three Indiana institutions. Valpo then heads to Saginaw Valley State on Nov. 10, along with Davenport, before closing out fall competition Nov. 16-18 at the Phoenix Fall Classic in Chicago.

Following the holidays, Valpo returns to the pool for Senior Day at the ARC on Jan. 18 as the Crusaders host Rose-Hulman. A busy weekend awaits the very next weekend, as Valpo travels to Eastern Illinois on Jan. 26 and then treks to Fishers, Ind. for the Butler Invitational the next day.

The squads then head their separate ways for their respective conference championship meets, Feb. 20-23. The Valpo women will head to Columbia, Mo. for the Missouri Valley Conference Championships, while the men travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. for the Summit League Championships.
