2018-19: Ranked third on the team in the 50 free (22.27) ... posted top times of 49.35 in the 100 free and 1:49.77 in the 200 free ... also saw action in the 100 fly (57.02) and the 200 IM (2:12.82).

2017-18: Saw action mainly in the sprint freestyle events as a sophomore ... ranked fourth on the team in both the 50 free (22.92) and the 100 free (49.09) ... also ranked fifth on the team in the 200 free (1:48.44) ... also competed in the 100 breaststroke.

2016-17: In his first year, Austin was a contributor in several sprint races. The 50-free saw Austin go 23.17, while he went 49.59 in the 100-free. He also went 1:48.36 in the 200-free. In the 100-breast, Austin clocked in a 1:05.44, and he put up a time of 2:05.28 in the 200-IM, which was good for fourth-best for the Crusaders last year. He also anchored the 400-free relay at the Horizon League Championships, helping them go 3:12.44.
