Jeffrey Schorsch (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) won his second consecutive Horizon League Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor Tuesday. The junior surrendered just three games as part of a 2-0 week at singles versus Butler and IUPUI. Schorsch also teamed up with Charlie Emhardt (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) to record convincing 6-2 and 6-0 victories at No. 1 doubles.

Schorsch led the Crusaders to a pair of sweeps in Indianapolis this past Saturday. He downed Butler freshman Mason Dragos 6-0, 6-1 in the morning before handing IUPUI's Jac Newis a 6-2, 6-0 defeat at No. 1 in the evening. Schorsch's victory over Newis tied the junior for the most singles victories (69) in program history. He'll go for the record Friday at #46 Louisville.

Schorsch and Emhardt, the 33rd-ranked doubles tandem in the nation, dispatched Dragos and Mikheil Khmiadashvil, 6-2, at the Butler Bubble before shutting out Bradley Luetschwager and Kyle Whittaker at the West Indy Racquet Club. The Crusader pair improved to 14-6 in doubles play after Saturday's triumphs.

Tennis fans will be able to follow Schorsch's pursuit at history on Friday as live stats will be available from the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville. First serve is slated for 6 pm ET/5 pm CT.
