Bradford’s win leads Valpo men at Bob Eubanks Open
Wally Bradford won the 1600-meter run at the Bob Eubanks Open.

Wally Bradford (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) earned his first victory of the season and the Valparaiso men’s track team recorded five top-10 finishes at the Bob Eubanks Open held at Grand Valley State on Friday.

Bradford took the lone victory for the Crusaders in the one-mile run. He crossed the line with a time of 4:19.15.

Nick Kowaleski (Lockbourne, Ohio/Grove City) earned a pair of top-10 finishes. He took fifth in the 60-meter dash, finishing in 7.05 seconds, and his time of 23.03 seconds was good enough for 10th in the 200-meter dash.

Also on the track, Kevin Adamik (Elmhurst, Ill./York Community) finished sixth in the 300-meter dash (35.76 seconds), and Tyler Crum (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) was 10th in the 400-meter dash (52.68 seconds).

The Crusaders return to Allendale, Mich. on Friday, January 18 to compete in the Mike Lints Alumni Open.
