Valparaiso senior Wally Bradford (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) was named Horizon League Male Runner of the Week for his efforts at the Bob Eubanks Open.

Bradford bested a field of 38 runners to win the one-mile run in a time of 4:19.15. The next closest competitor was finished .74 seconds later.

This is Bradford’s second career Runner of the Week honor, and his first since his sophomore year.

Bradford and the Crusaders return to action on Friday at the Mike Lints Alumni Open in Allendale, Mich.
