Sophomore Jeremy Getz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has qualified for the NCAA East Regional Championship in the javelin throw.

The NCAA East Regional Championship will be held May 23-25 in Greensboro, N.C.

Getz, who had a season-best mark of 208’ 3” (63.48m), placed in the top-48 finishers in the region, which qualified him for the regional meet.

The top 12 finishers at the East Regional Championship will advance to the NCAA Championships on June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.
