2017 Horizon League Outdoor All-League (distance medley relay) 

2020: Started his senior indoor campaign on Dec. 6 with career-best marks in both the 200 (23.42) and 400 (51.16) at Notre Dame’s Blue & Gold Invitational… Followed with a PR of 1:29.06 in the 600 on Jan. 17 at GVSU Bill Clinger Classic… Finished eighth in the 400 on Jan. 24 at Indiana State’s John Gartland Invitational… Finished first in the 600 on Feb. 7 at University of Chicago’s Windy City Rumble… Ran a time of 52.28 in the 400 at the MVC Indoor Championships on Feb. 29 at UNI.

2019: Set a personal best in the 200-meter dash, running 23.99 in the team’s opening meet on Nov. 30 at Notre Dame… Set his personal record in the 400-meter dash on Feb. 15 at the GVSU Tune-Up, coming across the line at 51.40… Was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that recorded the fifth-best time in program history on Feb. 23 at the MVC Indoor Championships at UNI. He appears on the program’s third, fourth and fifth-best 4x400-meter times. During the outdoor season, recorded his best 400-meter hurdles time of 57.26 on April 13 at Illinois Twilight Invitational.

2018: Season-best indoor 200-meter dash time of 24:50 came Jan. 12 at the Bob Eubanks Open…Finished fifth place in the 400-meter hurdles at the Redbird Invite on April 14. There he received his season-best time of 57.14… Was a part of the record breaking 4x400 relay team that clinched a seventh-place finish, where the relay scored two points with a time of 3:17.07. This time replaced the previous mark of 3:20.3 set in 1974.

2017: Part of the indoor league-champion distance medley relay team team that posted a 10:06.59, which ranks second in program history... Also a member of hte 4x400 relay team that put together the third-best time in Crusader history at 3:22.95... Had an indoor season best in the 200m dash on Jan. 21 at 24.03... Turned in Valpo's top 300m dash time of the indoor season on Jan. 13 at 37.00... Had his top indoor 400m dash time on Jan. 28, finishing the race in 52.11... Posted his best 200m dash time of the outdoor season on April 1 at 23.37... Ran a 51.23 in the 400m dash on April 15 and established the team's best 400m hurdles time of the year at 56.49 on May 7. 

Prep: Three-year letter winner for the Trojans…2016 team MVP…2015 state qualifier in the 4x100m and 4x200m relays…two-time all-conference in the 300 IM hurdles…school record holder in the 300 IM hurdles with a time of 41.70 seconds and 4x200m relay with a time of 1:31.50…2014 Team USA Track and Field International Meet member of the first-place 4x400m relay team and third place recipient in the 300 IM hurdles…two-year letterwinner in soccer…unanimous all-conference selection…two-year letterwinner in basketball…one letter in football…member of Spanish National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Kathy and Kenny Otterbach…major is civil engineering.
