With the spring season just a few weeks away, Golfweek.com made mention of the Valparaiso women’s golf team in its Horizon League preview.

Junior Kelly Voigt (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) was selected the best Horizon League player during the fall season, and head coach Mat Blair’s squad received special mention from writer Lance Ringler. In his prediction section, Ringler said of the Crusaders, “It’s possible that just about any team in this league could win the title, but look for Valparaiso to continue to get better under the direction of second-year coach Mat Blair.”
