Valparaiso University's Elisa Malthaner (Brighton, Mich./Brighton H.S.) was named Mid-Continent Conference Co-Player of the Week after leading the Crusaders to a pair of victories last week.

The senior/junior right side hitter tallied 35 kills (5.00 per game) in a pair of wins, while hitting .526 and averaging 0.86 blocks per game.

In Valpo's win over Butler, she hit .542, with a match-high 15 kills and added four blocks. In the Crusaders victory over Oakland, she hit .515 with a career-high 20 kills.
