The Valparaiso University women's soccer team has announced its 2002 schedule and will play nine of its matches at Eastgate Field this fall.

The Crusaders will open play on Sept. 1 at home against the University of Toledo before heading to California to play in the Cal-Poly Tournament against the host school and Pacific.

Mid-Continent Conference action opens on Sept. 29 at home against IUPUI. The season will conclude on Nov. 3 with a home contest against Loyola (Ill.).

The Mid-Con Tournament is set for Nov. 8-10 in Tulsa, Okla. with Oral Roberts serving as the host institution.
