Valparaiso University's Tricia Speziale (Emhurst, Ill./York H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Week after her performance on the Crusaders spring trip at the Rebel Games.

The redshirt-junior hit .333 in six games with three doubles and three RBIs. Speziale also drew three walks for an on base percentage of .444, while scoring one run.

Speziale went 3-for-3 in the final game of the trip against Sacred Heart with two runs batted in and two doubles. She also drew a walk.
