Five home games highlight Valparaiso University's 2003 Football Schedule. The Crusaders open the season on Aug. 30 at Murray State and play their home opener on Sept. 6 against Wisconsin Lutheran at 1 p.m. Homecoming will be Oct. 4 when Valpo hosts Morehead State at 1:30 p.m.

The home slate also includes games Sept. 20 against Saint Francis (PA) University at noon, and Pioneer Football League contests Oct. 18 against San Diego at 1 p.m. and Oct. 25 against Drake (Parents' Day) at 1 p.m.

The remainder of the road schedule includes games Sept. 13 at Austin Peay, Sept. 27 at Jacksonville (FL) University, PFL contests Oct. 11 at Dayton and Nov. 8 at Butler, and the regular season finale Nov. 15 at Aurora University. Valpo has an open week Nov. 1. The PFL Championship, featuring the North and South Division Champions, will be played Nov. 22 at the site of the North Division Champion.
