Valparaiso's men's swim team dropped a 152-71 decision to Illinois-Chicago on Friday night in Chicago, Ill.

The Flames had a swimmer finish first in every event on the evening on the way to the victory.

Ed Chester (Mishawaka, Ind./Mishawaka H.S.) earned a second place finish in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 11:29.15, the Crusaders top finish in the first nine events.

Neal Badgett (Houston, Texas/Strake Jesuit Prep) touched the wall second in the 500 free with a time of 5:09.18 for the Brown and Gold, while Jeff Ewers (Huntertown, Ind./Carroll H.S.) finished in the same position in the 100 breaststroke.

The Crusaders close their dual meet season on Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. meet against Cleveland State.
