Valpo's Daniels Earns Third Team Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars Honor

Chris Daniels, a sophomore defensive back at Valparaiso University, was named to the 2003 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars Third Team. A finance major from Peoria, Ill./Notre Dame, Daniels has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.234 through the 2002 Fall Semester.

The Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars award honors to minority student-athletes by sport.

Daniels was previously selected to the All-Academic Pioneer Football League Second Team.
