Valparaiso University junior Jeff Vrabel has been named Mid-Continent Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week after helping the Crusaders to a 3-1 record over the weekend.

The junior from Allen Park, Mich. went 3-1 at second singles. He was a 6-1, 6-3 winner against Youngstown State, registered a 6-0, 6-0 victory against Cleveland State, and recorded a 6-3, 6-4 win against Lake Superior.

Vrabel also posted a 2-2 mark at number one doubles with Ben Dunham-Freer (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands H.S.).
