Valparaiso University was one of just 23 Division I schools to receive the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for both men's and women's soccer during the 2002-2003 season. The awards were handed out as part of the annual NSCAA Convention recently held in Charlotte, N.C.
