Valparaiso University's Holly Hagen (Hobart, Ind./Hobart H.S.) finished in seventh place in the weight throw on Friday evening at the Meyo Invitational held in Notre Dame, Ind.

Hagen turned in a toss of 49'7 ¾" to earn her spot among a field of 31 entrants.

Valpo's only other contestant of Friday, Amanda Meyer (Somerset, Wis./Somerset H.S.) did not clear a height in the pole vault.

The Crusaders entire team will be in action on Saturday at the DePauw Invitational beginning at 10 a.m. in Greencastle, Ind.
