This year the junior posted a 4-2 mark in Mid-Con play and earned conference Athlete of the Week accolades three times during the season.

Nic Kooyers (Holland, Mich./Holland H.S.) and Jeff Vrabel (Allen Park, Mich./St. Francis Cabrini H.S.) each earned Mid-Con Second Team honors. Kooyers, a freshman, played second singles for the Brown and Gold this season and tallied a 13-16 overall record. He finished Mid-Con action with a 4-2 mark and also registered a win against Michigan State this season. Vrabel, Valpo's fourth singles player, went 16-10 overall and a perfect 6-0 in league play.
