Valparaiso's women's track and field team has been selected to finish in fourth place at the Mid-Continent Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships according to the coaches poll.

Head coach Tyler Wingard's squad is coming off of a fifth place finish in last year's championship.

Southern Utah was picked to win the championship, followed by Western Illinois. UMKC was tabbed fifth, followed by Chicago State.

The 2004 Mid-Con Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held February 27-28 in Sterling, Ill.
