For the third time this fall, Valparaiso University's Ben Dunham-Freer (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands H.S.) has been selected as the Mid-Continent Conference's Athlete of the Week.

The Crusaders' senior defeated George Wang of DePaul 6-1, 6-3 last weekend in the first round of qualifying at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships before falling to fourth-seeded Brian Lipinski in the second round.

Dunham-Freer finished the fall season with a 5-4 record in singles play and was 4-4 in doubles action.

He also earned Mid-Con citations on September 27 and October 4.
