Illinois-Chicago recorded a 135-95 victory over Valparaiso on Saturday afternoon in women's swimming and diving at the Athletics-Recreation Center pool.

The Flames took home the quickest time in 12 events on the afternoon.

Britt Nelson (Cortland, N.Y./Homer H.S.) was Valpo's lone victor on the day, winning the 500 freestyle in 5:16.89.

Maggie Kroemer (Brown Deer, Wis./Milwaukee Lutheran H.S.) finished second for the Crusaders in the 1000 free with a time of 11:01.79 while Amanda Gregory (Carmel, Ind./Carmel H.S.) was runner-up in the 50 free with at time of 25.92 seconds.

Leigh Schneider (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead H.S.) was second in the 100 butterfly with a mark of 1:01.81. Ashley Seale (Maryville, Tenn./Maryville H.S.) turned in the second fastest time in the 100 breaststroke touching the wall in 1:12.01.

Valpo (2-3) will conclude its home season next Sunday, hosting Wisconsin-Green Bay in a 2 p.m. meet.
