Valparaiso will face Northwestern on Friday, May 13 at 2 p.m. in Evanston, Ill. in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

Notre Dame battles Iowa in the first match of the day in Evanston, beginning at 10 a.m. The two winners will meet on Saturday, May 14 at noon.

The Crusaders are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history after winning the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament. Valpo finished the regular season 15-4 overall and 8-0 in Mid-Con play. Northwestern, the tournament's fifth seed, is the Big Ten regular season and conference champion and finished 24-2 overall and 10-0 in league play.
