Valparaiso University's Jon Brighton (Warner Robins, Ga./Houston County H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference co-Offensive Player of the Week following the Crusaders' double-overtime tie at Centenary on Saturday.

The sophomore scored both Valpo goals in the 2-2 draw. His first game just over three minutes into the match, and his second came at the 54:48 mark to put the Brown and Gold up 2-0.

Brighton shares the offensive honors with Dave Leung of Oral Roberts.

Valpo (2-4-3, 0-0-2 Mid-Con) returns to action on Friday with a 3:30 p.m. match at Western Illinois.
