Valparaiso University's Rachel Janssen (Fort Wayne, Ind./Dwenger H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Athlete of the Week for the third time this season and seventh time in her three-year career after helping guide the Crusaders to the Mid-Con Tournament title and a second straight berth in the NCAA Tournament.

The junior won singles matches at the top spot against both Southern Utah, in the semifinals, and IUPUI, in the championship, on her way to a team-leading 14 victories on the season.

Janssen and the Crusaders will find out their First Round opponent in the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday evening as the selection show takes place live on ESPNews at approximately 7:45 p.m.
