Valparaiso's women's track and field team is projected to finish fourth at the Mid-Continent Conference Outdoor Championships in the preseason poll released today by the conference.

The Brown and Gold totaled 19 points in the voting, comprised of the league's seven head coaches. Oral Roberts was a unanimous choice to capture the conference crown. Western Illinois and Southern Utah placed second and third, respectively, while UMKC, Oakland, and Chicago State rounded out the polling.

The Mid-Con Outdoor Championships are scheduled to take place in Macomb, Ill. on May 11-13.
