Valparaiso University's women's swimming and diving team has been selected to finish in fourth place at the Mid-Continent Conference Championships as the conference released the preseason poll late Thursday evening.

The Crusaders earned eight points in the poll, one fewer than IUPUI. Oakland is the preseason pick to win its seventh consecutive title, following by Western Illinois. Centenary was picked to finish behind the Crusaders.

The Mid-Con Championships will be held February 16-18 on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Ind.
