Valparaiso University senior forward Dan Oppland (Saint Louis, Mo./Whitfield H.S.) has been selected to play with an Athletes in Action team on an international tour of Europe.

The team left for Europe today (Aug. 17) and will return to the United State on August 29 and will travel to Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, and Greece to play a total of eight games against the various national teams.

Oppland, a First Team All Mid-Continent Conference selection, averaged 18.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for the Crusaders last season.
