Valpo's Wednesday doubleheader at Purdue has been re-scheduled as a single game Thursday, April 13 at 3:00 p.m. due to forecasted inclement weather in the West Lafayette, Ind. area.

When the Crusaders and Boilermakers do meet on April 13, it will be the 25th all-time game between the two clubs, and their first matchup since a 4-4 tie at the Valparaiso University Softball Field last season.

The Brown and Gold's (6-8) next game will be their Mid-Con opener, a doubleheader Friday, March 25 at preseason conference favorite Southern Utah. Valpo opens the home season with a pair of games Tuesday, March 28 against Central Michigan, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
